IMMIGRATION EVALUTIONS

IMMIGRATION EVALUATIONS

Mental health evaluations can often be the only evidence an immigrant has in their defense in Asylum, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act - it pertains to any sex, not just women), or Extreme Hardship immigration cases to present to the courts.

We are able to provide in-depth, detailed, mental health evaluations for individuals who are seeking additional documentation to provide to the courts. With years of experience in assessing, documenting, and treating trauma cases, we are offering our expertise to accurately portray your circumstances to the courts, however, we cannot guarentee the outcome of our evaluations on your immigration case.

We provide the following mental health evaluations:

  • Hardship Waivers (I-601 and I-601A)

  • VAWA and Spousal Abuse

  • Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and Convention Against Torture

  • U Visa

  • T Visa

We have limited space available for these assessments.

fees

Immigration Evaluation report: $1000.00

Expedited evaluations: if your evaluation is due in less than 2 weeks, there will be an additional fee of $500 for a total of $1500 paid in full before the evaluation is released.

Please expect that the report could take 2-3 weeks depending on the complexity of the evaluation reason.

There is a $200.00 non-fundable fee due at the time of scheduling all interview appointments which will be applied to final balance if the appointments are kept as scheduled. If the appointments are missed, there will be an additional $200.00 fee to reschedule which will not be applied to the overall balance. More than 2 missed interview sessions will result in referral out.

Expedited services require the balance to be paid in full at the time of scheduling the first appointment.

what to expect

Evaluations are typically arranged via your immigration attorney, however, it is possible to initiate the process yourself. To begin, there will be a short, 15-30 minute consultation that will give a brief overview of the process, verbal explanation of the contract expectations, and the first interview will be tentatively scheduled. This first appointment is scheduled based on the completion of the written contract, any Releases of Information that are necessary, and other paperwork the clinician deems necessary. If this information is not completed and returned prior to the scheduled appointment, it may be cancelled.

The clinician will call 3 days prior to remind you of the first appointment. Due to high demand and limited availability of these appointments, if you do not respond within 24 hours to confirm your appointment, it will be cancelled.

Payment arrangements are available with a written contract. Final evaluations will not be released until balance is paid in full.
